This change comes in response to an industry-wide requirement, with major browsers\u2014including Safari, Chrome, and Firefox\u2014set to distrust any two-year certificates issued after August 30, 2020.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>Key Changes:<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul><li>All SSL\/TLS Certificates are now limited to a maximum of <strong>1 year validity<\/strong>.<\/li><li>Customers who previously relied on two-year certificates will now need to complete validation and reinstallation <strong>every year<\/strong>, rather than once every two years.<\/li><\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>Multi-Year Purchases<\/strong><br>You may still pay upfront for up to 5 years of coverage, but certificates will only be issued in <strong>1-year increments<\/strong>.
